Psychologist / Ewa Nowińska

Ewa Nowińska is a Registered Psychologist with a Master’s Degree from University of Gdansk, Poland. She also completed one year university exchange at the University of Barcelona, which led her to move to this beautiful country. During her 8 years in Spain/Catalonia, she continued developing her skills as a psychologist by working with clients struggling with work related issues, body image or relationship issues.

After moving to Australia / Sydney in 2013, she commenced working with clients on Workers Compensation.  Moreover, she has been supporting clients undergoing bariatric surgery.

Ewa has a very warm, client centered approach, while focusing on providing clients with specific tools to address their most urgent issues. She advocates client’s autonomy  and she encourages clients to learn how to be their own good therapist. 

Ewa uses a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, (CBT), Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT-E for Eating Disorders), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, (ACT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Positive Psychology, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy as well as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).

Ewa is fluent in Polish, Spanish and Catalan.

Ewa is a SIRA-approved psychologist and sees clients under WorkCover and CTP, as well as Medicare.

Ewa is A Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician.
Ewa also collaborates with ADHD.BED clinic in Melbourne.

Ewa only sees clients online on: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Psychologist / Danka Fiedor

Danka has more than 5 years experience working with people with different health different health and mental issues as well as physical disability and different socio-economic background.  Danka is a Polish by background, however, she has completed all of her professional training & registration in psychology here in Sydney, Australia. Her recent full-time roles have been in Sydney as well as in Darwin in the Northern Territory.
She believes in a strength based approach to treatment where she works collaboratively with clients to tailor treatments to suit their needs and goals. Her training in private and public health has developed her skills in the diagnosis and treatment of a range of mental health issues including: stress, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, grief, PTSD and complex trauma, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, ADHD, self-esteem, perfectionism. Another area of her interest is to provide support for couples and help them to resolve any relationships issues. Her training includes the use of Gottman Therapy.
She also SIRA accredited provider (19138).She is experienced in evidence based approach such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness, EMDR and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
